This policy explains what personal data Content Tool (operated as part of Colbert Digital, based in Scotland, UK) collects, why, and your rights over it, in line with UK GDPR.
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Email address | Account creation, login, service communications |
| Uploaded images/video | To generate your post content — stored only as long as needed to provide the Service |
| Theme/prompt text you enter | To generate captions, hashtags, and audio matched to your post |
| Usage data (pages visited, features used) | To keep the Service working and improve it |
Generating captions and hashtags involves sending your theme text to Anthropic’s Claude API. Generating audio tracks involves an internal request to our SynthForge platform. Neither service is used to identify you personally beyond what’s needed to generate your content.
We use essential cookies required for the Service to function (such as keeping you logged in). Where we use any non-essential cookies (for example, analytics), we will ask for your consent first via the cookie banner shown on your first visit.
We don’t sell your data. We share data only with the service providers needed to run Content Tool (such as our hosting provider and the AI services above), under agreements that require them to protect your data.
Uploaded files and generated content are kept while your account is active, or until you delete them. Account data is kept until you close your account, after which it is deleted within a reasonable period except where we’re required to keep it longer by law.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the Contact page.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
